Does Age really matter?

kita ba mo diha'g batan-on lalaki (24 yo) nya ang uyab babae (46 yo)... kung naa man gani --- ma-ihap ra in 1 hand. unusaul ni nga view, you know why? coz age DOES MATTER. we'll daghan diha mga babae ang uyab tiguwang but lahi na nga istorya (money matters na!)

but to some degree of age gap lang, if gamay ra deprensya ok ra--- it wont matter. like what the thread starter was telling. 3-6 yrs is not a huge gap for a relationship, but , 12 and above---> i dont think so.

heheh, lol at money matters na. so u mean siguro gihimo lang ko ug sugarmom? that's what everybody thinks right away. nah, dont think so. may kaya naman sila sa ilang city sab. It does happen. But society does not really keep an open mind about these things especially kung babae ang much older sa lalaki. take for example, naa ko mga frends in fact one was only 20 when she married a 60 yr. old guy. Look now they have two kids and she is happily married. Kung lalaki ang much older sa babae, morag mas accepted sa mga tao. Pero kung babae na gani ang older its a different story. For me personally, that was the reason why i broke up with him. Kay ni advance ko ug adto sa 30s age bracket compared to him na almost ka age ra sa akong daughter pero bata gihapon sa ako. Anyway mao na akong trend and I know i'm not the only one in this situation. Eversince always man ko sa younger dili ko atracted sa older maihap ra nako maybe one or two na ang guy older sa ako unya na attract ko. So, mao na akong type basta lang dili lang sab bata pa kaayo like him before pero grabe ka matured sab adto siya ang pirmi sabot sa ako instead na ako, hehehe anyway its funny i joked at him last time nag pm siya, i said...how old are you now? lol

ako kai akong uyav 3 yrs younger than me, hehe. im working and He's still a student but i think its so cool that were into similar things pero usahay mugawas jud iyahang pagka bata! but i think isa nas naka nindot sa relasyon namo kai naay unpredictability nya lingaw mi! hahaha weeee.

Streetcar @@ no offense intended thats y i stated there as 'unusual na view' or maybe what i mean was it's not a common occurence, coz i strongly believe that age does matter... in your case, well, you're one of the "not usual scenarios".
i dunno if this is the norms or just plain reality, i know science can explain a lot about this, that male and female emotions mature or develop differently. while women becomes emotionally stable at a young age, men dont. one reason why we tend to choose a younger partner,... maybe, for us to be able to level up with you lovely ones, .
as for the girls marrying DOM's (lol), well i'm refering to the ironic reality of whats happening in our country. We are aware that a lot of filipina are marrying old fafa (mostly foreigners) and we all know why this things are happening. blame no one but the economy.
for me.. age does matter. di na ko pansinon karon ug mga batan-on.... shet!

an 18 yr old girl can act as an adult woman baya

Jawbreaker, for me if it bothered me then as yan ang cause why i broke up, i dont know am not too comfortable about it lagi. But i had fun while it lasted mao ra to. Daghan ko frends here too younger lang mga husbands sa ila like 10 yrs. mga happy man nuon sila. Dili ko ganahan ug older. Boring, hehehe anyway naa ra sab na sa imong environment man gud. Like me i have two daughters nga morag mga sisters ra nako. Sometimes if i can't find my pieces of uso na long necklaces guess where it is? my daughter wears them too so great kaayo akong rapport with my kids but pag abot nako sa office, mga tiguls na tanan ako pinaka bata then there they talk differently and i have to adjust pero bisan unsa nga age maka adjust man sab ko. Anyway, yeah you are right harsh reality ang situation with the younger ones marrying guys so much older morag lolo na nila. I'm not saying it can't happen, it does in the real world but ang main reason ana nila is to get out of hardship. So many like that who has gotten that break in life to come abroad pero i also know of some who arent happy in that way. When it comes to relationships, pamili gyud dili basta basta cause your happiness greatly depends on the person you choose, di ba?

anyways, lucky you coz you still think and do stuff like a young pips do. i know a lot of people would do anything but can't, just to change their boring lifestyle coz they act like grown-ups now and they wanna stay young. as for me i will always stay 24 yo even if that was quite a while since i hit that age. coz those were the days as if "i got the whole wide world in my hands".
