Spot on. But I think it's the olive oil that's brushed on the underside of the crust that's preventing it from sticking on to its oven surface (or whatever you call it). Yes, Calda uses virgin olive oil, which lends that magnificult aroma. If you're eating it at home, I'd suggest sprinkling a generous amount of Tabasco sauce (the original one). Try the Vegetariani if you're health-conscious.

Comparison? Night and day. Calda's more on the authentic Italian-style pizza, while Alberto's the Mom's Pizza-type. In other words, taste in this instance is a matter of sophistication. Go for Alberto to get your fill and if you don't care to move up from the bread-and-ketchup-type pizzas of the Mom's Pizza variety. Go for Calda if you want something close to an Italian pizza. But seriously, why limit your choices to these two if you're a true Italian Pizza lover? You should put La Tegola on top of your list.

The only problem I have with Calda is its prices; it's not justified. For me, the taste is ok, nothing very special. For an open air-type setting, they charge as if they're running a fine dining restaurant inside a air conditioned mall. It is really overpriced. The owner should slash prices by 25%. If the owner doesn't realize this, he'll get what he deserve: lackluster sales.

ako kay alberto's bahala daghan bombay lami man kaydaghan man cheesseeee..hehehe calda lami sad kay ma busog ko sa 18inches na pizza nila..though compare sa taste mas lami.an ko sa alberto's ..hehehe naka nindot sad kay mo deliver cla i don't know sa calda kung mo deliver ba cla kay bag.o paman sad cla gamay pa ila branches.. pero all in all nahan ko sa duha!! lami nya BARATO pa!! ... ^_^
