I see, Never had that issue yet so far all my games are running synced + triple buffered.

Funny, you sounded like you knew a lot of stuff about the 9600GT's "lower power = lower performance" but nice theory though.
My card is even bigger, what does this have to do with any of this ?
Based on the review you posted the 4670 losses out on the 9600GT, i believe the same result is possible even with the reduced clock speed GP editions.
For the record, both cards are in the same price range the the 9600GT costing 300-400 more, thats expected from a better performing card.

Look i understand you like that card so much but just accept the facts that there are better cards out there, you dont see me flaunting my 4870X2 / GTX295 around just to justify my purchase or extend my epeen.

All this 4670 performance comparison is rather nonsense as you were using a 4650 w/c is significantly slower than the 4670.

LOL. i had 2 4670s. an MSI and Force3D one, the Force3D fan was kind of a joke thats why it died, and i RMA the MSI one. so i know how it really works, whereas you totally underestimate its capabilities, and its tired to see people saying ohh ur card cant do this and really negative and bias.

i dont have any experience with the 9600GT but with Nvidia as a company with fancy marketing schemes and really bad naming schemes and useless PhysX and overhyped CUDA and expensive and what not i dont see why its a bad time to be an ATI fan since well, ATI is leading the graphics card tech these days, its soo bad that Nvidia is cutting prices and even losing.

i dont see why i'm WRONG. depende ra sad cguru's preference sa tao. personally i turn it off regardless if there's screen tearing. sure its there but its negligible. i dont want my games' fps limited to my monitor's refresh rate (60Hz at max reso), so i turn it off. im not really a graphics whore na switch on tnan max anti-aliasing/anisotropic filtering. i dont mind the jaggies. again, depende ra jud na ninyo. well, if OC kaau mos inyo graphics hala cge.

i was disappointed with GTAIV, no AF and AA, i mean it hurt to watch sometimes but the gameplay is way fun.

if you have to power to go for gaming max its worth it imo

whats our level of "acceptable fun" from game playing may not be the same as others. if u think ure 4670 or 4650 works like charm, so be it. reviews may sometimes be biased. but try to interpret everything in fps na lng at specific settings and at specific game. say 4x AA, 1050 res crysis.
