daghan kalahian sa book ang movie no?
the robert neville in the book was a fan of beethoven; in the movie he was a fan of bob marley.![]()
Perhaps the most glaring difference is that Robert Neville was originally a WASP with Germanic (visigoth) roots!
And I find it sad there were no scenes of the zombie girls "showing of their stuff" to haunt Neville's forced celibacy...to me that was the most entertaining part of the book nyhahahaha, but then that's me. Hihihi

Hadlok ba ang movie?
For the box office pulling, naturally they had to create the usual SHOCK treatment for moviegoers, so yes, it's scary/terrifying esp. in the nighttime, and dark indoors scenes. Pero with kids being so jaded nowadays, shrugs I really doubt it if the "infected" are really that scary to them.Originally Posted by Luthienne

^ Ic. Thanks. Might watch tomorrow. I'll take with me a screaming companion for the scary scenes.
saw the movie. haven't bought a book yet. the movie wasn't scary. the infected looked like gollum of LOTR. at first it was like the castaway by tom hanks because he was always doing a monologue. will smith was talking to sam, his dog and the mannequins which were strategically placed, just like tom hanks, he was talking to the ball that had a face(tom hanks drew a face on it). when we were waiting to get inside, i heard a comment from someone coming out that the movie was weird. for me it wasn't. for sure the story would be more graphic and detailed when read. a lot of things are edited just to fit the cinema time frame.

@rodsky: what do you mean wasp bro?
kuyaw pud ang mga vampire women no, they knew how to lure him...i mean, why were they that smart? they're half-dead, and they only cared about one thing, to have their fill of his blood.
i found the movie a bit scary indeed because the monsters were so aggresive and powerful, much more than the zombies in dawn of the dead. and they do look like gollum hehehe...
ben cortman is noticeable in his absence.
@Galadriel: it reminded me of castaway too. i love that film! neville in the book also likened his situation to robinson crusoe. he was a man trapped in an island surrounded by a sea of death.
no ben cortman in the movie..
