Police are careful not to call the killing of two snatchers this afternoon the work of vigilantes. It may have been “concerned gun owners” responding to a crime, sources say. But witnesses of the incident in S. Osmeña St. near Pier 4 in Cebu City this afternoon were shocked with how two men, faces partially hidden behind close-type helmets, parked their motorcycle nearby walked up to two alleged snatchers who had just taken the earrings of a woman onboard a PUJ. One of the gunmen shot this snatcher in the photo at close range. The second gunman chased the other snatcher who started to run away. The gunman caught up with him on the street and shot him as well in full view of motorists and pedestrians. Witnesses say the two gunmen, who looked like they knew what they were doing, then casually walked back to their parked motorcycle and drove away.

diha jud daghan sa pier 4,3,2,.... at least coz of this, it will be peaceful for at least for a few weeks or months...

I think they're not the vigilantes... but probably past victims who are sick and tired of hearing about in and out snatchers/holduppers because victims are too busy to file a case against them...

It may sound inhuman, but sometimes fear is needed for peace, eliminate 1 to save a thousand.
