Nice insight. but the aliens blood isnt actually acid. it just is similar but has a different compound. Even the predator's blade is made from alloys of unknown origin that cant be found in the periodic table.

the aliens don't care about the compounds in their blood as long as it can do the job then that's it..all we can do is just speculate it's up to the screenwriter if he thinks that the blade of the Predator will melt upon close contact with the Alien's blood or otherwise..lets just stick to the known profile sa duha ka race...by the way does the Aliens have heightend senses? im not really an avid Aliens fan coz patay jud na cla kai naa mai stealth camouflage ang Predator and kad2ng disk-like weapon nga akong nakita sa game nga deadly kaau..but kung isangka ang kad2ng new breed nga Alien kad2ng sa last nga Aliens movie then i think lisod cguro pidihon ang mga Aliens..kai that thing was supposed to be a new Alien hybrid with a host unknown capabilities na la pa napakita..d jud ta kaingon kung knsai sure kai gamai rman jud ang info about sa duha..pero kung no-holds-barred nga slugfest Aliens nlang ko oi..lai bout ang Predator gdat.ugan ra gani 2 ni arnold ug dako nga bato tikangkang man gani how much more sa Aliens.

Well I'll go for The Predators.

But don't underestimate the Aliens because the movie Aliens wasn't that easy to stop them even Segourney Weaver (Did I spell the Name right?)
from the future has a more advance weaponry even than the predators in my opinion. The Aliens wipe out the Entire Marine Platoon.
Not just Marines they're Elite Marines from the Future. Well Arnold stop the Predator maybe because he tricked him and the Stealth was damage and one more thing the Aliens
can infest a human host making them (predators) more difficult to hunt down. hmmm Predator Stealth? The Aliens can smell ol'factory sense Well as for the Big Bad Predators
they have this Nuclear Bomb at their disposal but that would be suicide if they used that kinda weapon. I'll still go for the Predators

ok, im a chemist by profession so its just a natural way of reacting when given a case like that. But i remembered Ripley said in Aliens 3 that "blah*..blah**..it's acid.." She must have ran a lab test somwhere and it wasnt shown in the movie. *shrug* She didnt say..."
its got properties like acid.." so basing on her statement "its acid", id say, it will react with a base.

Anyway, i asked a friend abwt this and he said that it's the aliens who'll win bec. they can regenerate.really? can they? can they?

pero if maigo sila sa blaster sa predator, basin maglisod ug repair ila cells kay icauterize man.palusible bah?

But me- it's predator who'll win.feel ko lang

Ok, going back to that acid-base thing, it could b an inspiration for a spoof on the Alins vs. Predator flick. and it will be aptly titled, The day Predator killed the Aliens wiht Lye or this, To Kill an Alien:use baking soda.

The Alien's blood may have not been acid at all, but just an extremely powerful, complex array of proteins and enzymes, not necessarily acids.
