This may or may not have been asked before but I would just like point out a couple of differences between the shirt that I got earlier today, and from my collection of classic lacoste shirts which were bought over the years during travels abroad & here in the Philippines as well.

As a buyer & for the benefit of future buyers, I would really appreciate it if you would be able to shed some light regarding this matter. Thank you

1. The buttons from the shirt you are selling seems to be made of a different material from my Lacoste shirt which is made of authentic Mother Of Pearl (MOP)
(If you try biting a genuine Mother Of Pearl (MOP) button you will notice a very obvious difference with a button not made of Mother Of Pearl)


Shirt on the left is from the seller (sunkist) while the shirt on the right is from my collection (green).

2. Crocodile appliqué from all 3 of the shirts I got from you seem to have a darker green shade than all of my Lacoste shirts. (May not be very obvious in the picture)


First 2 shirts are from the seller (sunkist & fuchsia) while the last 2 are from my collection (black & blue).

3. Crocodile appliqué's tail from all 3 shirts I got from you seem to have a sharper edge compared to all of my shirts which has a round edge tail consistent on all of my shirts.

4. To me, this is the most obvious difference: The hem line from the shirts I got from you are very visible from the outside whereas the hem line on all my lacoste shirts are seemless so it is not visible from the outide.

Hi G-Money! Thanks for the feedback, your observations are highly noted. First and foremost, I already posted the pictures of my items on the first page to set expectations and even the title or subject has the word Over runs which means this are original/authentic but due to some imperfections, these shirts did not past the Quality Standards of Lacoste. Also, the shirts I am selling are not imported from Thailand like what you see here in the stores in Cebu. You can go to Alabang Town Center, there's a Lacoste Shop there and it differs from the shops you find here. Even in the stores, you will also find that every lacoste has a different style(s)/design(s) and the crocs (size & color) and buttons (mother of pearl/plastic) differ.

My Tip for other buyers:
What most buyers do is they buy 1 shirt from me first to try my items then if they like it, they order again and get more which is most of the case although I get only 1 or 2 customers here in istorya who never ordered again but their feedback was fine. I have been collecting Lacoste shirts too ever since (here and abroad) and I find the slight differences not much considering the price of the Over runs and what is sold in the stores. I am selling over runs so people have an option whether to buy from the stores or from me and other online sellers. Both are authentic that I am certain; in my opinion it's just a matter of how meticulous one is and when it comes to practicality. You either buy a Lacoste shirt for less than a thousand bucks or you pay 3x the price. I have been going in and out of Lacoste Shop Ayala wearing my Lacoste shirts and hang out with my friends who are Lacoste addicts and nobody seemed to have noticed what you just pointed out; except my sister (on the hem) but she said with the fair it seems very reasonable.
With that being said, my only regret is, I should have asked you to open the shirt earlier when we met and have you inspect it right there and there. Also just one observation, the photo you inserted doesn't look like the fuchsia or sunkist I am selling or it could just be the lighting or camera effects? Nevertheless, again thanks for sharing your thoughts, will certainly take note of this for future meet-up so not to waste resources for both the buyer and your truly. God bless.

Well, as they say, "To each his own." Your explanation is much appreciated.

The color difference is because of the camera since I was only using a camera phone plus I used a flash. I can assure you that the 1st two shirts in the photo are the ones I got from you since all of my Classic Lacoste shirts have exactly the same logo as 3rd & 4th shirt in the photos. That's the reason why I was so alarmed when I compared them side by side after I bought it from you.
