No...but the violence is like Gladiator. This is more of something from the history books it's based on The War of The Roses and Hundred Years War that we don't want to read because there's no *** but this one has plenty of it. and backstabbing and scheming, incest, murder. The characters hate with a passion, and they want to kill each other.
