Here are the owners who are willing to lose a season - if necessary .
- Paul Allen - Blazers . He was the guy who took over the last negotiation on the owners side when Stern called in sick . Wants "spending control" . Probably this means HARD CAP .
- Robert Sarver - Suns . Demanding salary rollbacks . He says he would lose $15 million if the league is running the same system , but only few millions if there's no season .
- Dan Gilbert - Cavs . No reason why , he just told everyone at the last meeting to "trust" his gut .
- Ted Leonsis - Wizards . Wants a hard cap like the NHL . Not afraid of losing a season since he already experienced it in 2004-05 NHL Lockout .
- Michael Heisley - Grizzlies . He's claiming he's not a big spender and want all teams to do the same . The team is currently on the market so he'd rather have his team sold .
- Glen Taylor - Wolves . Wolves is one of the smallest payrolls in the NBA , he thinks all teams should have similar payroll as his team .
- Maloofs brothers - Kings . Wants spending control . Want to get out of Sacramento . Want to move to Anaheim . Want to be in the playoffs , Finals , and win the Finals .
- Peter Holt - Spurs . Want to have fair playing field for all teams . Hard Cap .
- Stan Kroenke - Nuggets . Lost Carmelo to the big spender NYK . Many believes Kroenke made the idea of the "Carmelo Anthony rule" and was presented during the negotiation . The rule would prevent all teams from using the Bird exception to sign or extend a player acquired by trade . In other words he just doesn't want that Carmelo debacle to happen again .
- Michael Jordan - Bobcats . Wants salary rollback . That's it .
- Herb Kohl - Bucks . Said the current CBA is "broken" .
- Lawrence Tenanbaum - Raptors . Wants revenue sharing and spending control .
If you analyze it carefully , they want regulated spending , strict salary cap more like the NHL and the NFL .
These are the owners are willing to have the NBA back ASAP ...
- Mark Cuban - Mavs . Want to have the NBA immediately . Want shorter contracts though cuz he's hooked on Brendan Haywood's contract - $45 million , 5 years . Other than that , he has no issues .
- Jerry Buss - LAL . Willing to give whatever the NBAPA want .
- Micky Arison - HEat . Slave master of the troikas and master of manipulating the current system . He wants a comeback from last season .
- Wyc Grousbeck - Celtics . Got a TV deal so he want that money now .
- Mikhail Prokhorov - Nets . Like Grousbeack , he got a TV deal . Want the NBA to be back in business so they could work on moving his team to Brooklyn .
- Rich DeVos - Magic . Wants to talk to Dwight Howard and start convincing him to stay .
- Les Alexander - Rockets . Willing to have the NBA back in business , but want a shorter player contracts .
Owners on "I don't care-mode" .
- David Stern - NBA commissioner and fake owner of the Hornets (which is actually owned by his 29 bosses) . he just go whatever the decision of the majority .
- Greg Miller - Jazz . He lives in a Mormon-plagued state and arguing about money is a sin .
- Clay Bennett - OKC . Whatever the majority decides . Doesn't want to be a pain in the ass on Stern , after all he owe him a lot for moving the team from Seattle .
- Joshua Harris - 76ers . He just purchased the team last week . Doesn't want to be involved on the ongoing bargaining negotiation .
- Peter Guber and Joe Lacob - Warriors . Still new to the NBA ownership . Like Harris , they don't want to be involved on the ongoing negotiation . Whatever happens , they have Jerry West as their "adviser" .
- Tim Gores - Pistons . He didn't even sent a rep during negotiations .
- Jerry Reinsdorf - Bulls . He'll just do whatever Stern advise him to do .
- Herbert Simon - Pacers . Wants revenue sharing but don't want to be vocal about losing a season , after all , majority of the owners are in favor of it .
- Alex Meruelo , Hawks . Meh , he's waiting for the final approval of the purchase . In other words , he doesn't care , he's leaving anyways .
- Donald Sterling , Clippers . He just got the new Blackberry Bold and told everyone to e-mail him any updates .
mao lge ni Salary Rollback n Hard Cap..
tungod jud ni sa SUPERFRIENDS sa HEAT ug ni CARMELO ANTHONY lge..
