Guanzon says yes to Sonny on bet

Basaha ang CDN today Oct 21, 2006 page 2. It seems like mu back down si Guanzon sa bet because...

1. He issued the bet "in jest"
2. He highly respects Fmr Sen John O.

He also said that he's frustrated sa media for calling too much attention on the bet....

I think that if you make such statements to the media... you must be ready to back up your claims.
He (Guanzon) probably never expected anyone to challenge him but now that someone has stepped up... He's trying to dig himself out of his own mess. He also says that anyone who bets against him is "anti-cebu" ... I think this has nothing to do with the bet and is just a tactic to divert attention from the Nov 15 deadline.

What really irritated me was when he said that he would only agree to the bet if they find a more experienced or more qualified architect than him to evaluate the CICC. We all know he's probably the most experienced here in Cebu but saying that is like saying....(makig boxing ra ko ni John O. if ang judge mas maayo pa mo boxing nako) In short, you don't need to have MORE experience than him just to judge the bet... You just need someone independent who has access to all the plans.

Bet or no bet, im anxious to find out if mahuman ba gyud ni... (I hope it does finish but I find that unlikely given the current look of the place.) By Definition of "finished" I mean.. it will be useable by Nov 15 for the summit.
