been to the last thread about a nursing grad... and got back to this thread... which talks about "nursing grads" --> i just guess... based on reality, nursing grads don't actually stay long in call center, and that is one big reason why most companies dont accept them.
just my pov though. reality will be decided by the company itself. lol.
for qualfon though.. yep.. most nursing grads nga akong kaila wala na ngadto. as they say "they need experience in a hospital"...
yaeh, i think all of the call center companies are no longer accepting nursing grads. it would be much beter for them to work in a hospital so that they can use their profession instead..
I don't think nursing grads should be prevented from applying call center jobs. Getting a job is suppose to be a survival test. Therefore having one, means you're competitive enough to withstand the rest who didn't make it. If all the rest of the IT grads or the so called talented undergrads are that globally competitive then a small puny nursing grad competitor won't hurt, would it? Professionalism doesn't stop after graduation or even after board exam, therefore learning other stuff that is not related to your field of expertise is a plus.
Better a grad than an undergrad. The question is... Is he/she worthy of the job? Its not much of an argument but its worth the teaser.

@istoryaaah - i do understand what your about to say. anyways, have you ever tried at qualfon so far? coz what i only know is that nursing students are mostly the once who come and go... but i guess its all in the interview whether or not you'll be accepted.
i believe most companies normally ask you trick questions to know whether or not if you'll stay long enough in the company if they hire you. its up to you on how you can actually let them believe that your the person for the job.
anyways, wish you luck though.
@nemesis271 - dont take it out on that person. i believe he/she is just doing his/her responsibility. anyways, i do hope you'll find a job your looking for. Good luck!
