1. will the 2009 fortuner come with 2.7 or 3.0 diesel engines?--Same Engine-Same Transmission
2. will the suspension be upgraded to independent coil springs for the rear? linked?--Same Suspension - The suspension is Independent Coil Spring from the start. It so happend Toyota designed the suspension more stifer.
3. will the price increase? Yes, around 20-40T
4. factory leather? We uggraded to factory leather seats and door panels since mid 2006
5. made in Indonesia or Thailand? Thailand
As what ive heard the Montero has better ride compared to the Fortuner. the Santa Fe has the best ride between the 3.
Korean engine configuration are set to the max thats y der more responsive, pro permi stress ang engine, dili maayo para sa atong environment and it consumes more fuel. try to ask some of our friends who drives korean made vehicles.
If u have time lets have a test drive so that u can compare the turning radius of the Fortuner.

OT:
SPRING: arang arang na baya ang Korean cars karon... have you seen that new HYUNDAI Luxury Sedan (GENESIS) they recently released? Pero mao sab lagi, While the Korean cars are trying to catch up, the Japanese manufacturers are also raising the bar as they go along.
Also: Sa gisulti ni PREDO about ride... it's a give and take thing. Softer ride compromises handling while stiffer suspensions corners better.
Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?
