st@rr : I used to use T-505, that costs 50+ right? I think you should shift to GOSEN RED. It has a better lift compared to T-505 and it's cheaper at PhP 41 each. My experience with Trump is that it's too light at some point. Here's a tip on what shuttlecock you should buy.
- stand at one end of the court and hit the shuttlecock as hard as you can. Try to see if the shuttlecock reaches 1 to 2 feet before the Singles Long Service Line. That's a good shuttlecock. If the birdies fall at the center, avoid buying those birdies next time.
st@rr : Fairchild Semiconductor is a company somewhere in MEPZ 1. They have their own GYM and not for rent, it just so happened that they have some badminton enthusiasts too and invited me in to play with them. It's a Basketball Court actually and they divided it into 3 Badminton Courts. Not bad!![]()
@burokhuli: Where can we buy the GOSEN RED? Went to Christ sports at ayala but I don't think they have those. Thanks for the advice
Layo diay na ang Fairchild noh? But ok ra for you guys coz you work there right?
Went to metrosports last night... and you guys know what happened? Guba daw ilang FUSE so the lights went out at around 9pm!!! They dont even have a generator! Grabe... A lot of people were complaining gyud. An establishment as nice as that should have a generator right? Bad reputation na gyud ang metrosports...
st@rr : You can buy it at CHRIS SPORTS & TOBYS at SM. It costs at 41 pesos each. Yeah, I work somewhere in MEPZ.
Pila man sad ang hourly rate diha sa METRO SPORT? How much pud ang membership? Unsay matte gi gamit nila? Is it TARAFLEX or VICTOR?
sa Shuttlecock kai cheaper ra baya sa? it's just PhP 2000 annually and 150/Hr and a maximum of 2 hours of play per member.
Kanus-a man ta magdula ninyu diri? Bisan once a week lang gud. Para dala na sad EYEBALL ba.Im sure ang pinaka cheap na place would be YMCA. Mau ra say akong ma afford na venue. Hehehehehe!!
@burokhuli: ah thanks...
Hourly rate at METRO SPORT is 150/hr if you're a Club Ultima Member. If you're a metrosport member, it's 250/hr. They use TARAFLEX mattes. If you're not a member, you have to pay an entrance fee of 100 pesos with 50 pesos consumable. You can reserve as many as you want depending on your deposit. A 500 deposit allows you a 3 hours reservation... so if you have a deposit that's more than that, you can rent a court for a day if you want. hehehe.
and Yes, Shuttlecock is much cheaper... rubber mattes raman sad gud ilang gi use and it's just an old warehouse converted to a court. Bisan asa raman mi play as long as naay available court![]()
st@rr : There is a CHRIS SPORT in AYALA. They have GOSEN RED I bet.
ok...finally got a sched. i don't do metrosports cos i'm over 21 and teh stupid people say i can't live at home anymore lol![]()
