We already established the fact that we have a difference of opinion on the subject matter. That's why we're having this discussion. But your resorting to character attacks is a different matter. Again... THERE ARE GUIDELINES ABOUT POSTING OT's. I warned you TWICE about your OT's and even gave you a head's up about checking the forum rules about OT postings. Most members don't even get warnings, you got two - consider yourself lucky.

Didn't you even notice on how I've been putting "OT" or "OFF TOPIC" or "TOTALLY TOPIC" on the OT posts I made?? Why should I be sanctioned when I wasn't breaking any rule? Hmmmm? As a moderator, I complied to the forum rule and set an example to other members.. ikaw, after duha ka warning wala gihapon ka mo tuman. How many warnings do you need anyways? Until matagaan kag infraction, diha na ka mo tuman? Even FIRE STARTER who had just joined in the thread observed the proper guidelines on posting OT's.

Just to point it out: I am not trying to win an argument by handing you an infraction. I merely instructed you to follow the forum rules when posting OT's. It was you who diverted. I was talking about practical spending and saying that people are being impractical when they're spending way beyond their means. YOU then accused me of being judgmental. THAT is when the conversation started to sway. I made arguments about personal opinions, you got defensive and resorted to personal attacks.

That is basically what happened. And now here you are whining about getting an infraction when all you could've done was preceed your post with an "OT".

On topic:

I still think it's impractical to buy these "high-end" slippers when the individual can barely make ends meet. And to skip several meals just to be able to buy a pair isn't really a justifiable compromise in my opinion. If you can easily afford to buy the finer things in life, cool. But if you're making minimum payments on your credit card and barely have enough for savings, then I think it is better to just look away and go for a cheaper alternative.
