S&P went under 1000 today (996.26) - THANK YOU PAULSON AND BUSH ... man I sure hope you twits should be charged for treason.

I expected a rebound today from yesterday's loss... but!! NO REBOUND!! - actually the market plunged deeper, cancelled out the late rally from yesterday and even lost a bit more. Mind you people - THIS IS JUST ROUGHLY 3 DAYS AFTER PASSING AND SIGNING OF THE BAILOUT BILL.

    ---

By the way... sa mga taga US. There's gonna be a huge storm on the way... be prepared!!! A precaution - get all your cash from your banks.. hoard mog mga pagkaon. It's gonna be a very bumpy ride. There's not gonna be a lot to thank about this coming Thanksgiving and a not so Merry Xmas during the yuletide season.

Vienzel ... the economy will bounce back.. don't worry about it. Especially ikaw nga naa ka sa med-field - you should be fine.. ug na huthot imong pang retirement, just start over. We are very close to the bottom of this crisis - mo bounce na niya siya soon and we should be fine (optimistically speaking) by mid-late next year. Huwat lang gyud ta's election `cause BUSH obviously have no real solution for this crisis.

By the way - tonight's debate should be interesting.

Vienzel: Australia's been having trouble these past weeks as well. They're market has been down the past 2 days and I see their index on the red a few minutes ago.
Your life insurance should be fine... I still have both my METLIFE and NEW YORK LIFE insurances.

BRAD: I was expecting a rebound earlier.. although ni action ug rebound pag open sa market reaching at the mid hundreds ang DOW pero ni naog lang gihapon around 10:30AM or so. Ugma tingali naa gyud ni rebound. Pero regardless, I'm staying with my positions - ganiha nag expect kog rebound, gibuhi-an nako ang SKF ug SRS.. ang mga boang ni saka ug 19.72 and 14.44 respectively. Kana laging nahadlok ta's rebound. Maygani ni kuha kog puts sa WYNN ug LVS (couple of Vegas casinos) - naka kwarta lang gihapon ug gamay.

bitaw sa sa sayo pa up gamay akoa.
but after the bernanke speech ni dip pagayo.
i was thinking of dumping some.
but i didnt make a move.

    sigi lang maghowat nalang ta.
im lucky i didnt buy anything from january to end of june.
    minimize akoa damage.

naa daw interest cut coming up.
usually bank stock goes up the day before the speech then dump it 20 minutes before the end of speech because the stock will go back down again.

I will not do this because maybe this will not work anymore because it seem people are in panic mode.

They were talking about the interest-cut earlier. The rumor of an interest cut should've triggered a market rally pero wala man.
You should probably get half your losses back ugma if naay bounce - unless, of course, if the huge crash happens tomorrow.

Pero Brad - nganong ni sulod man ka sa Bull market pag July nga pwerte mang naog ato sa market - that was the time when FNM and FRE bit the dust - just a few month's before that, Bear Stearns went kaput.

I don't understand why the Dow dipped so low, even after the bailout. I would've thought Wall St would be so much more optimistic about recent developments.

I was dismayed by my company's plunging stocks, but hey, what can you do? It is what it is.

Simple - CONFIDENCE has not been restored. No one wants to invest in a staggering and very volatile market. The passing of the bailout has failed to restore confidence.. even the rumor/talks of interest cuts - tagak lang gihapon ang market.
Talking about the lack of confidence... MITSUBISHI UFJ was rumored to retract from the Morgan Stanley deal.
