Mao ni akong experience sa Norway.
I was born here but decided to move to the Philippines when my parents decided to banana split. Like all other countries, there are pros and cons in living in Norway.
Pros - Free Healthcare
Free Dentalcare - 0-16 y.o
Free Education
Good unemployment benefits
Low crime rate (except rape)
Cons - Weather(Maybe 3-4 weeks only of hot/sunbathing weather/year)
36% tax rate
Way uso tambay kay tanan nag work
Everything is expensive.
Basketball is a seasonal sport.
It has been 6 years since I came back to Norway. My wife will soon be a citizen and my kids are citizens by way of Jus sanguinis. I have to be honest, Norway will give you a life where you will have the opportunity to travel the world. It is so expensive here that once you visit another country, everything will suddenly be very affordable. With that said, there is also a reason why people choose to get out of the country every chance they get.
Everybody has a job! Well, cost of living is so high(real estate is crazy) that you have no choice except to work. This personally bothers me a lot coz I have my days off during the weekdays. Wa koy ka tambay.
Crime rate is very low. Our police are unarmed. Decreases the likelihood of being shot. You can use your phone anytime, anywhere. Only crime that is high is rape. Girls become easy targets because they tend to go home alone at night after drinking session.
To sum it up, Life in Norway is easy and comfortable but can get very routine.
Life in the Philippines is hard and unpredictable but amazing? wonderful? jollibee? tagalas? lechon?
This is my personal experience. Might be different from other people but I highly doubt it. Facebook is a lying MF. Filipinos wherever in the world, puro mga lambay.

When I arrived here last November, gpa skwela ko skng wife sa ila language then gtbangan sd ko ug 1 ka Cebuano dri through agency nga ng supply ug workers nla.. Started working 3x/week since I have language class on MW´s then after my course ended last May, we decided to stop schooling for the moment ky kmi ang ng gasto ang its very expensive.. As of the moment, Im working 5days/wk with the same company I´ve started back in February though still as a temporary worker but at least Im working to think nga lisod ang work krn together with their language..
