i used to be "chubby" and people often teased me. i lost my self confidence. i wasn't able to wear the clothes that i wanted. worse last year, my old clothes wouldn't fit me anymore. i was short of breath. realized i wanted to change myself.
i had a lot of failed diets, but now i was more determined and motivated. i read a lot of health magazines and i browsed the internet. i used to be 123 lbs, now i'm only 105! mind you i didn't lose it fast and it wasn't easy. everything ONINS said was true. the maximum weight you should lose in a week should only be 2-3 lbs. slowly but surely! if you lose weight fast, you gain the pounds as fast (or faster).
want to know how i did it? here are some tips:
*eat healthy foods in small portions as often as you want--- 6 light meals are better than 3 heavy meals. if you eat lightly, it will trigger fast metabolism, less storage of fat.
*healthy foods include whole grains, fruits, vegetables and white meat---eat oat meal, wheat bread rather than white bread, cookies, cakes. don't eliminate carbohydrates! you'll feel weak. just choose the right carbohydrates.
*don't skip meals. as ONINS said, it will make our metabolism slower.
*drink plenty of water (trust me!). stay away from the evil softdrinks and artificial drinks. (i have stopped drinking softdrinks for 4 months already.)
*exercise. choose the one you enjoy so it wouldn't be a burden--- for my part, aerobics-thrice a week for 45 mins and badminton on saturdays
