Camp Red just undertaken an eco-tour guide of fourteen social educators from Denmark on February 5, 2011. Did demo on bushcraft cooking using bamboo and passed by Busay Lut-od Falls.

CR did another island tour to another set of 17 Danes to the north of Cebu. Huge waves, caving and a climb to a lighthouse were the activities.

    Default Nocturnal Hunting

Sorry folks, it's been a long while. Me and my buddies, Boy Toledo and Ernie Salomon just recently been to a free-flowing river in Argao, south of Cebu, PI on October 2-3, 2010. This time we were doing night hunting for fresh-water shrimps and crabs, edible frogs and, hopefully, some elvers. After about two hours sweating it out along the river catching our prey with scoop net or hand, we were able to collect several shrimps. We release all the crabs since most of it are the inedible type and the frogs since cooking these at a late late hour is quite complicated. Along the way we met many juvenile snakes lurking on the river bed waiting for their prey.

this is very nice. I've never been a bonafide survivalist but I've always loved compasses, knives, whistles and fire-starters.

I learned whatever I can in scouting and my father taught me a lot(too bad, i've forgotten most of what he taught due to not being practiced).

I would like to join your group one of these days and be your videographer or photographer, if you want, for keepsakes.

let me know what you think sir. God bless.

and by the way, something seems to be wrong with facebook now so I can't see your page but I will try again later.

    sent you a PM sir.

you've had so much fun in Argao diay. your shrimps reminds me of the time I was in Bauang, La Union and catching and eating what the locals there call as "jumping salad" which is primarily fresh shrimp fries dipped into vinegar and eaten right away. although your shrimps were bigger, hehe.

Going to Napo tomorrow as advance party for tree-planting on Sunday. No corporate sponsors, no seedling donors. Just me and Camp Red and Green*Point with support from EWIT Mountaineers and the mountain inhabitants with our stock of 9-month fruit trees.

If you'd like to take part, be there at Guadalupe church parking lot on Sunday, March 13. 6:00 AM-6:30 AM. Boy T will be there to facilitate you.

    This is the itinerary.
