w/s s better XP or Vista?

Windows Xp for now..

Don't get me wrong.. Linux is way better than both XP and Vista.

i have vista in one laptop and one running in xp, vista needs more ram, pero in my line of work vista is not currently up to spec for me. it will be fixed and i will wait for that

which only applies if ur half as good as a programmer and have time to find the right drivers and stuff ^^

what is your line of work? and lesser RAM = better for your work? how does old XP be up to spec with Vista ?
