Me! (just kidding) but, no seriously, I've joined this years National Novel Writing Month.

Its a creative writing project in which participants attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. The official event is held every November.
Participants' novels can be on any theme and in any genre, and in any language. Everything from fanfiction, which uses trademarked characters, to novels in poem format, and even metafiction is allowed; according to the website's FAQ, "If you believe you're writing a novel, we believe you're writing a novel too." Starting at midnight November 1, novels must be completed before 11:59:59 PM on November 30, local time. Advance planning and extensive notes are permitted, but no earlier written material can go into the body of the novel, nor is one allowed to start early and then finish 30 days from that start point.
No official prizes are awarded for length, quality, or speed. Anyone who reaches the 50,000 word mark is declared a winner. NaNoWriMo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia



I've written several fan fictions before but I doubt I'll ever reach 50,000 word count. It'll be a good writing exercise though. So any of you aspiring authors/writers out there come join.

Hmmm. i dont know if i'd have fave authors, but books perhaps. i find that in the long run i would get tired of my so-called "favorite authors". commitment issues.

my favorite writer would have to be my drinking buddy, Nikay Paredes. Although we argue for the most part, we share a love for Barack Obama and Saitou Hajime.
