some minors use the age technicality (being minors) to get away with crimes.

i think it age for conviction should be lowered so that matagaan ug sense of responsibility ang mga bata karon especially for repeat offenders.

I know an 18-year old mom nga cge'g pangutang og pangawat sa grocery. . Gikapoy na iyang relatives ug sige'g bail niya apil ug bayad sa iyang kautangan /kinawat.

Her reason: minor pa daw cya and she is entitled to do the crime.

When she turned 18, dakong kalipay sa iyang iyaan ug mga ig agaw kay pwede na daw cya mapriso . I find it weird but sakto pud. She has to assume responsibility on the legal age. But those crimes could have been prevented if lower unta ang age for conviction.

agree with you t.s but sometimes mag start gihapon sa blay ang saktong batasan sa mga bata saon ang mga parents wa man say ayo.

Unsay update ani gani? Diba 15 years old and above maheld liable naman karon noh?

I'm asking this because I just saw teenagers at the CITOM prison cell this morning. Only 1 of them got jailed while their other frat mates are just sitting outside the cell providing morale support and company (good brothers they are ai?).

Then a bunch of other police officers came to get the teenager who got jailed asking his age, etc. There I knew he was caught with a firearm. Then I overheard them saying "maayo diay ikaw gipa-angkon..." So I was thinking he was under age to be criminally liable?
