ubuntu 10.10 rc user here with lenovo s10-3c.
nice to have a cebu based forum for ubuntu.
share ko lang ang experience ko when installing ubuntu 10.04.1 (both desktop and netbook version) and ubuntu 10.10 rc.
s 10.04.1(both version):
out of the box, keyboard and wifi will not work.
sa wifi para mag work need ka pa mag install ng deb installer for ralink 3090 driver.
sa keyboard, di ko na solve ang issue after trying the countless solutions found in the net.
so i decided to try the ubuntu 10.10 release candidate:
out of the box, wifi is already working no more deb installers to be installed. so it seems na solve ang issue coz of the new linux kernel na gigamit nila. 10.10 rc is using the latest linux kernel release.
but sa keyboard still same problem... the keyboard not working problem is still there.
it seems sa tanang variant sa lenovo s10-3 kaning s10-3c lang ang may problem regarding sa keyboard. based on what i read in the net, from s9 to s10-3t wala silay problem regarding keyboard.

finish downloading 32bit edition, took me 5hrs. already made a bootable usb and tested it. Originally Posted by j.alob
