THE ONLY LIVING iSTORYA...
Go for the change.
if you want a really good speed bump sa gfx card.. wait for next line of ATI cards ( ang mo sunod sa X800 na line, which is still a long time from now ) bsta ayaw lang pag X800-Pro its just a overclocked 9800XT. go for the X800XT model kay mao na ang X800 nga chip type
Earlz, you gotta be kidding me but i do agree to some of your post that I think defines something good and are worthed to read but about X800 Pro issue I'd laugh at you... If my X800 Pro is just an overclocked 9800XT why doesn't it heat up so muchOriginally Posted by [EarlZ]
Do more research then do tell us something that aren't BS (bullsh!t)...
whatever... My X800 Pro stock cooler is smaller than the 9800XT's and best of all, it consumes lesser power than the 9800XT. It has a different type of memory, and the time I replaced its stock HSF with the Zalman Heatpipe, its actually has a different core... hmmm... I'm still having a double thinking...
Fact: "The X800 Pro is more like a juiced up 9800XT", yes its true. Why? because it doesnt have a lot of new features compared to Geforce 6800's SM 3.0. The main difference is just, this card has a new core and a better memory chips... basically it is faster. But it doesnt mean it is an overclocked 9800XT.
Performance difference? how about a 3D Mark 03 score increase from 6800 up to 10500? I'm sure 3500+ isnt just a SMALL difference.
If you can't afford to buy it, simply don't buy it. If you feel the card is NOT for you, then its not for you. But for me, its even a good upgrade from 9800XT. Upcoming next generation of ATI cards? hmm... i might or i might not get one. It depends, if get lucky again.![]()
