sa china na lang unta ta palit kay sure ko barato ra... =)
first of all, everybody knows there is no war with china. imagination ranas mga pinoy oi. nya asa mani niya gamiton ron? sa mindanao? ka sosyal gud hahaha even if there will be a war, you think these 2 planes is enough? maayo untag power overwhelming ni ug show me the money haha but still its a good stepping stone to upgrade but sobra ra kaau ang f16 considering our financial capabilities at present

Still kahinanglan gyud bai. Wala tay fighterplanes, ang last gi decommission na pag 2005. Mura ta aning banana republic sa atong neighbors. Were basically airforceless. Also, obligation ni sa atong nasud ang pag improve sa defense. Kung walay magsige demand ani, bulsahon na nila ang defense budget.

defense is crucial for a country whether its military or economy nga naa jud tay ato, atong kwarta, atong pwersa, dle nga gihuslan lng sa ubang nasod. ingon pa, prevention is better than a cure. pero as to what is happening, preventing a war is like beating a bush. china will always seek/turn-to war if it needs to just to take what they want. we have to brace ourselves and prepare for the worst.
...i think milagro na jud na mo-buy na ang Philippine ug fighter plane. Buy tood but, i think the plane sad i something like this, A.D. Scout Sparrow ExCC. model. check this out! Cool!!
Can anybody at least prove to me that we are really financially incapable to buy or maintain these planes? at least naa koy perspective in economic stand point not just on assumptions..
And about education there are a lot of schools nga very cheap pero otok puhunan...
We can not prove or disprove that China won't attack..So the enemy is still at the gates.. It still best prepared..

We've already ordered a Lupo Class guided missile frigate from Italy for the Philippine Navy along with the incoming Hamilton Class cutter USCG Dallas, now called BRP Ramon Alcaraz. We are also eyeing lead-in fighter jets from them. We are choosing form those of South Korea and Italy. Personally, I'd prefer these than second-hand F-16s form the US.
We should also look for other surplus from Europe. As everyone pretty well know, with the fiscal crisis in Europe has forced some countries to cut pending on military and we can acquire these at lower prices than those in America.

BASTA ako! bahala na og sak sak sinagol atu fighter jets as long as naa jd ta.. may it be a an f16 and f15 a t50 or the m136 from italy pero mas nindot lagi jd if russin jets( SU 27 SU 30 0R SU 35) WEW! imba jd ni nga mga jets...
Design
The Su-30 is a multirole fighter. It has a two seat cockpit with an airbrake behind the canopy.
The Su-30MK is capable of accomplishing a wide variety of combat missions at significant distances from the home base, in any weather conditions.[citation needed] This multirole aircraft is adequately fitted for the entire spectrum of tactical and operational combat employment scenarios, varying from counter-air tasks (i.e. gaining air superiority, air defence, air patrol and escort) to ground attack, suppression of enemy air defences, air interdiction, close air support and maritime attack.[citation needed]
[edit] Flight characteristics
The Su-30MK's aerodynamic configuration is an unstable-in-longitude triplane. To increase lifting effectiveness and enhance manoeuvrability of the aircraft, foreplanes are installed.[citation needed] Foreplanes, however, are installed only in some Su-30 variants like the Su-30MKI.
The integrated aerodynamic configuration, combined with the thrust vectoring control ability, results in unprecedented manoeuvrability and unique takeoff and landing characteristics. Equipped with a digital fly-by-wire system, the Su-30MK is able to perform some very advanced manoeuvres. They include the well-known Pugachev's Cobra and the tailslide. These manouevers quickly decelerate the aircraft, causing a pursuing fighter to overshoot.[4]
[edit] Powerplant
The aircraft's powerplant incorporates two Saturn AL-31F afterburning low-bypass turbofan engines. Two AL-31Fs, each rated at 12,500 kgf (123 kN, 27,550 lb) of full afterburning thrust ensures Mach 2 in level flight, 1,350 km/h speed at low altitude, and a 230 m/s climbing rate.
With a normal fuel reserve of 5,270 kg, the Su-30MK is capable of performing a 4.5-hour combat mission with a range of 3,000 km. An in-flight refuelling system increases the range to 5,200 km (3,200 mi) or flight duration up to 10 hours at cruise altitudes.[5][6] The long range significantly increases deployment options. The missions vary from prolonged patrols, and escorts to long-range intercepts and ground attacks.
