2 types of conversion kits for Gunpla (according to me)

semi-conversion: replaces some parts sa original kit with customized resin kit to make it slimmer, bulkier, armored, and/or etc. kaning ako kay semi-conversion kit.

full conversion: uses a frame from the original kit to create another unit. examples are the 1/100 MG Sword Calamity Gundam (uses the frame of a 1/100 MG Freedom Gundam) and the 1/100 MG Sandrock/Heavy Arms Custom (uses the frames of either 1/100 MG Wing Zero Custom or Wing Gundam Ver. Ka)

most conversion kits are recast by either Super G or SMS (both produces best recast). the original kit are expensive and made by the original designers

original designs are mostly from Vicious Project and Neo Grade

conversion kits are quite expensive and not available on any hobby stores here in cebu. they are found online (mostly hong kong or singapore)

naa'y conversion kits na manufactured by Bandai's B-Club (their garage kit store). their kits mostly costs 3-5 times more expensive on the original frame.

CUSTOM WFC HOTSPOT

following the new line of the TF toys, here is a version of the Protectobot Hotspot. I noticed that hasbro has made visual designs of the other combiner leaders, more specifically Motormaster, Onslaught, and Silverbolt. I didnt want to leave out one of my favorite combiner leaders.

For the main body, I used a Starwars/Transformers crossover figure and used a deluxe sunstreaker head and added some antennas and covered his mouth. Also painted this custom to match his G1 colors.
