Though this is still speculation, there is a big possibility that the Ampatuans did have a hand in the massacre.

We cannot also discount the possibility of a frame up (making it look like the Ampatuans did it). Let us note that both clans helped dislodged a former governor (if im not mistaken a certain Candao) during a previous election, making Ampatuan dominate the governorship for 9 years. For all I know, it's possible so as to also mar the reputation of the current administration where Ampatuan is allied with.

But I am willing to bet on the former.

Unsa man, gatuo ang mga suspects nga dili ma ukay ilang dautan nga gibuhat sa 46 victims?

Yes, the Ampatuans and Mangudadatus were political allies before, but slowly drifted away. The last straw was when Toto filed his COC for 2010 governorship, the alliance came to a final end. So are the lives of 46 people.

Let us also note that there were prior acts of death and violence that happened involving these two families, though not clearly reported that one has something to do w/ the other.

This news is shocking and very disturbing. I cannot believe if a human could do these barbaric acts in the name of power and influence. Dili nani tawo kundi mga animal nga dako...

I say Gov. Ampatuan and all his other political relatives should file a leave of absence so as not to influence the outcome of the investigations and clear his name if indeed he has nothing to do with it. That's delikadesa.

I say PGMA should do something about it ASAP without fear of favor. Because if it was really the Ampatuans who did it, the PGMA admin created a monster.

LET US PRAY FOR THE ETERNAL REPOSE OF THE VICTIMS' SOULS...

Klaro na kaau bro ampatuan is the guilty party ... and Gen. Brawner is already conclude nga sila ang guilty ...

Problema lang gud demokrasya man ta adto pata sa Rule of Law ... adto pata sa court.

Natural raman tong hutdon nila patay aron walay maka witness ... pero way lusot gihapon wala nila nahurot ug patay.

Violent criminal gangs often engage in turf wars. Unfortunately in this place certain thugs receive presidential backing and the freedom to roam the land brandishing weapons and intimidating any who may oppose their master.

It's time to smash these dynasties! Democracy needs to be protected and no clan member should be so arrogant as to assume that power and privilege are his birthright.
