there is still stiffness in his knees. what i meant is when you undergo microfracture surgery, sometimes it even takes years to get back to 100%, sometimes di na gani mubalik ang 100% like C.Webber and Penny Hardaway. Si Jason Kidd is a step slower after his surgery, K.Mart still suffers pain sporadically.
amare's progress has been featured on ESPN last week. he looked good during his workouts/rehab/shoot-around but it's just a whole lot different when the knee is tested on actual game speed. specially the way amare's game is.. high flying kinda reckless abandon.. we'll just wait and see come play offs..

yup... he likes to jump around that close to the basket, even underneath it. it would be fun to watch him do that again...Originally Posted by omad
the Suns wins again in a shoot-out against the Bobcats 136-121. it was the usual run and gun style that the Suns are accustomed to. hope they'll improve on their defense so they can have a fall-back once their shots "won't go" in the play-offs.

PHOENIX (AP) -- Bryan Colangelo resigned as general manager of the Phoenix Suns on Monday, and was expected to take the same job with the Toronto Raptors.
Colangelo, the NBA's 2005 executive of the year after his retooled roster won a league-high 62 games, would replace Rob Babcock, who was fired by the Raptors on Jan. 26.
Bryan has decided that his preference is to leave the Suns, and under those circumstances, we saw no other option other than to accept his decision," Suns managing partner Robert Sarver said in a statement.
Colangelo could not be reached for comment.
Colangelo was in his 11th season as the Suns' general manager and 17th with the team. His father is Suns chairman and CEO Jerry Colangelo, who sold the club to a group led by Sarver.
Colangelo reportedly has a contract worth $1 million per year that runs through next season. He also has an ownership stake in the Suns that he would have to sell upon leaving the club.
The Raptors reportedly have offered Colangelo a multiyear deal worth $3 million per year, and the job would give him more power over basketball operations than he has with the Suns.
^big loss for the suns, Colangelo assembled many great suns teams. but you can't blame him, toronto offered him triple his current salary and job security.
anyway, shawn marion has been on a tear lately. he scorched the bobcats for 31pts and 23rebs and today he had another monster game against the rockets, 30 pts and 18rebs.
good news for Suns fans:
Stoudemire is ready for 5-on-5 work
