Mayweather-Ortiz generated like 1.2PPV buys. The mayweather camp really boasted this numbers and got a hype out of it. I don't know this is official but HBO or GBP are known to swell up their PPV buys just to get an attention and really put themselves in the position of making another chart busting sales. From what i have read and researched about it, it was reportedly about 880,000PPV buys only. The venue was not even filled up, there are still seats that were not occupied.

This fight is really worth it. I'd buy PPV just to watch this. Just to help out Manny on building schools and making Sarangani a better place.

1.2 ppv buys is just bloated up i think..but i believe mayweather's camp are still silent regarding this issue..supposedly, HBO already releases PPV results 2 weeks after the fight..but with the may- ortiz fight, official results have not yet been released..that goes to show that it was not a hit...
