The set-up is just okay.
Dugay pud ni nako gi-research and have auditioned other brands.
I auditioned the B&W 600-series but found it too bright for my taste so i settled for the Paradigms instead.
Yup, you are right, the SVS sub low freq could go down to 18hz. That's why i said earlier, you cannot hear the sound coming from the sub (even if you're sitting beside it) but you can definitely feel it.

It is only a mid-range category receiver. It is actually cost effective but features are nice. It is actually THX Select2 Plus certified, whatever that means.
If you are into 5.1 then the amp has a muscle on the low side. Even at 3.1 with surrounds.
I am saving for an Emotiva XPA-3 to drive the fronts and center.

I don't like bass. For headphone amps,
ganahan ko ma klaro ug samot ang vocals / speech;
because I am hard of hearing.

It aint really all that bass. E11 is pretty impressive for the price. And besides, it would only get bassy if you turn on the bass boost pero di man nimo need i-on kung purist ka. Its more midsy if you ask me. The problem with E11 lang naa siyay tendency nga mo dry sound so kapoy sa dunggan in the long run, but other than that, its a good amp. Also if gusto nimo smooth sounding the E6 is also a good option.

apil2x ko ani beh unsay nindut nga headphones mga bro for 2.5k budget or less? ako rang gamiton pang Sony Walkman Portable player (kaning B series) og sa ako pung desktop (sounds trip lang, not for gaming... akong soundcard kay asus xonar dx)... dili kog earbuds type, pero dili pud ko anang dagko na kaayo... kanang headband type (sakto ba akong term? hehehe) nga dili ra kaayo dako...

Edit: Kana pud diay nindut og bass, mas particular kog bass... Though dili ko hip-hop but I like pounding bass... No need pud ang high fi kay pang portable player raman akong purpose though i will only use 320kbps MP3s og FLAC kung sa desktop para ma sulit pud akong headphones...
