as far as ive remember during my math class, ug wa ko matug ato→ my answer will be 288 also!
asa man intawon inyong math principle intawon oi...as my professors always said in the past always solved the inner part of the problem before going outside...klaro ana nga 2
una man ang multiply then divide. gawas lang kung gi ingon ani.. (48/2)(9+3). basta akong na hinumduman sa among leksyon sauna.. btw im a graduate of engineering... dili lang ko mo mention kung onsa.. basta una i solve ang naa sa parenthesis then sunod kanang gtaparan sa parenthesis..
As said, I have used both my brain and resources. What the heck are you saying.
48÷2(9+3) ------------------------ given.
= 48 / 2 (12) ------------------------ (P)EMDAS. Parentheses 1st
= 24 (12) ------------------------ PE(MD)AS. Solve eqtn from left to right.
= 288 ------------------------ Answer.
Just a thought: I cannot imagine how Engineers and Mathematicians in this thread was not able to evaluate the expression correctly. This may be the result of the not-so-good educational system in the Philippines. Or should I blame the instructors in the Philippines for teaching the wrong way or have failed to teach the correct way or they only work for salary alone and not minding the learning of the students? Or should I blame the students in the Philippines for failing to learn or not wanting to learn?
