Need help! I'm gonna experiment on Chroma key, can anyone suggest some software?
Chroma key= the use of green/blue screen

Chroma keying can be done with a video editing software such as Premiere and Pinnacle. It does not require a stand alone chroma keying software, though there are available standalone software for professional use.
You can never go wrong if you follow the course of nature....

ButI've heard you need some kind of mixing machine that costs $1000+ for real time rendering.
do you use chroma key? will any type of luminous cloth do?

Yup, have heard about it but its kinda pricey. Ive beed doing some blue keying for my past short features and it must be cleanly done in shooting process. Chroma keying does not need $ 1000 real time rendering machine, just shoot your object in green or blue screen then remove it through video editing software (of your choice).
You can never go wrong if you follow the course of nature....

I'm new here. and i'm fascinated by these things.
i suck at techie stuff though. but i love movies.
I also tried generating my own screenplays, but they suck as well! they're so amateurish, and though i might know the rules of 3 act structure and pacing, i BARELY follow them!
I guess the biggest problem about making something is finding who will act in it? I find it kinda rare that someone would want to put their butt on the line, stay in front of the camera unless he or she was really passionate about it.
Then we just make the movie, put it in the can and wait for a producer to get to it.
