Best solution jud to really show the abs is to gain muscle everywhere (bisag di kaayu grabeh ka-dako) + the cardio. Bigger muscles = more fats ma-kaon, masdali mang-gawas ang abs.

Also, google og HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Basically ing-ani ni: when you jog, don't jog at a steady pace, pag-puli2 og sprinting ug jogging.

Bro jah, What exercises specifically imong gibuhat, how many reps & how many sets for each exercise?

@Jah I would suggest laying off the cardio on weight training days. If you want the best results i suggest working out with intensity. 30-45sec rest between sets. Try to finish your workout in less than 40 minutes to get maximum results! You can do HIIT on Tuesday and Thursday and rest on the weekends. I suggest doing the abs exercises on TTH.

Glad to know that this thread has helped people! keep the questions coming guys!!

Xen, nakay experience with body weight exercises? Right now I do push-ups + squats + curl-ups every other day (MWF). I'd like to change it up every week or so para interesting & challenging.

Right now this is what I do:

push-ups: following a program on one hundred push ups, mixed with some inclined p-ups, wide-grip p-ups and close-grip p-ups.

body weight squats: simple squats lang, working on getting my thighs parallel to the ground, doing mostly 3x15

Curl-ups: just started on this last week, do about 3x15

anything you can add to this routine? Cardio omitted pa sa pagka-karon kai murag bug-at pa kaayu ko (about 90 kilos ko karon) and whenever I jog mag-sakit jud ug ahat akong tuhod. I walk long distances daily though.

@L. Enario hey bro! I LOVE bodyweight exercises! I actually workout with my bodyweight and some resistance bands! Try to workout a body part once per week bro! MWF is definitely too much! you would want your muscles to recover and get back stronger! My advice bro if you workout with your bodyweight it should be explosive! ex. Explosive pushups, Jump squats, Burpees. If you can. Get a pull up bar! It cost around 600 i think in metro! One of the most important exercise you're missing is the pull ups!
