heartless.

realizing that
i am once again

h e a r t l e s s

spread thin
and transparent,

i stop living
for a moment
to concentrate on

but this time,

hearts are meant to be kept,

hide it deep inside you --

and it gathers dust,

Joyful Sadness

something so simple, such as a smell
can bring about happiness, but at the same time, hell..
something so simple, such as a song
can make you smile, while feeling everything's wrong..
things so simple have memories locked in
memories of love, sadness, and sin..
you want to forget, make them go away
but you know, forever they shall stay..
joyful sadness is this feelings name
so easy to feel, yet impossible to explain...

So little time to say the things
You'd really like to say -
Before you even find the words,
The time just slips away.

So little time to do the things
You feel that you must do.
So treasure, like the purest gold,
The time God's given you.

So little time to dream your dreams,
For youth has passed its prime,
And all too soon you realize
That there's ... so little time.

So little time to reach the height
To which you're bound to climb,
For swiftly pass the waning years,
And there's ... so little time.

So little time to pass regrets,
And less, to make amends,
Yet God can heal the deepest wounds
In chosen, cherished friends.

So little time to share God's love
And beauty here on earth,
And know, before His endless time,

I hunt beneath the silvery eye of night.
A ravenous hunger is my only companion.
My eyes glow with an eerie light.
And you will be lost once you look into them.

For under mah spell, you will find yourself~
a victim of mah desire.
And no amount of cunning or stealth~
will save you from the evil vampire.

You can try to run and try to hide~
but I will find you where ever you are.
I am in no hurry, time is on mah side.
And I won't let you get too far.

As you run and seek cover in the trees~
and pray that you won't be found~
your scent is carried on the breeze~
and I come upon you without a sound.

Before you know it, you're in mah embrace.
Entrapped in mah will for your blood.
I savor your fear and then takes a taste~
of your life offering, which comes in a flood.

As you close your eyes, you let out a sigh.
And resign yourself to sweet bliss.
Who knew how sweet it could be to die?
To die from a vampire's kiss?

the fragrance you wore, I smelt it on my pillow…
naah! this could be another game my mind is playing…
i thought it was your whisper “good morning” that woke me up
but the sunlight crawling over my bed…

i guess it was your smile I saw at the face of a stranger by the counter…
the other day somebody handed me a paper bag like the ones you often carried…
i never thought I could sing with so much feeling…
i play the keys more passionate than ever…

maybe I should avoid going out and taking a hike when it rains…
maybe I shouldn’t pass by the Jasmines at the Patio…

or… maybe this is just be another case of “badly missing you”…
