nindot na lagi ni ang heat kay naa na si marion, masmupaspas na ila offense gamay
They need another Center... younger, quicker and a good passer for DW.
nobody exactly knows how this move would pan out.
but I still think this trade favors the Suns more than the Heat in the next couple of years.
If this would work out better for the Miami Heat:
then everybody will say Pat Riley is a genius. Steve Kerr is an ass.
If this would work out better for the Phoenix Suns:
then everybody will say that Steve Kerr is a genius. Pat Riley is an ass.
that's just how it goes specially in the media.
Steve Kerr recognizes the need to make a move RIGHT NOW because 1) Steve Nash is not getting any younger 2) the Suns would now have somebody to neutralize the Tim Duncan's of the world, Yao Ming, Andrew Bynum etc etc... no more double teams.
Yes, Shaq is a little bit older but 15 pts. 8 rebs and 2 blocks per, given the number of games missed this season, is still a big help.
Shaq's presence in the middle in both the offensive and the defensive end would be the most important part of this deal. Amare would be relegated to the power forward slot and he would have a lot more energy in the 4th quarter because he won't be battling centers like in previous years. the Suns defense would be focused on other teams outside shots. the more missed shots from long range, the better they can execute their run and gun play.
this is where we would see how Nash would utilize the two monsters in Shaq and Amare. expect a dunk-fest everytime the Suns roll to the court.
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
Riley is planning to use the run n gun style like the 80's lakers. but in a more discipline way thats what he said.. with J Will, Wade and Marion theyre good but not that great.. basin pun an pani ni Riley og lain. at least exciting na pud ang Heat.
My two concerns for Miami now that they have Shawn Marion.
1.) Dwyane Wade is not Steve Nash who can constantly dish out and feed Shawn Marion. Wade will be looking for points most of the time.
2.) Without Shaq, Miami is now small. And that's basically something like the Phoenix Suns team without Steve Nash's unselfishness and basketball ingenuity and Amare Stoudemire's speed and dominance.
Shawn Marion will be back to his Phoenix days when he's got Stephon Marbury, his numbers were quite good but they didn't win much. I hope Jason Williams will do a better point guarding job and bring back his playground basketball, something like what he did in his early Sacramento Kings days.
With 8 more games remaining for the Heat, they are on the verge of setting a new franchise record for fewest wins in a single season. Miami currently holds a 13-61 card and their worst single season record is 15-67 set during the team's first season in the NBA.
ngano naa pa ma ni na thread.. mauwaw ta ani oy hehehehe
Cge lang, naa pa bitaw si Blake Ahearn, Joel Anthony, Chris Quinn, Stephan Lasme, Daequan Cook ug Kasib Powell.Originally Posted by sadahkingjam
Actually, Miami is armed with expiring contracts (Jason Williams, Alonzo Mourning and Ricky Davis). They can deal Shawn Marion (taas pa ug sweldo kay kang Wade and becomes expiring also this next season). Plus, once they deal Marion next season, they will have tons of cap space AND the incoming NBA Draft positions them in getting the top pick (or maybe lower if fate turns everything around).Originally Posted by yokam
Overall, Miami Heat has a bright future. IN terms of legitimate PG this coming offseason, wala jud kaayo sila makit-an. However, they can come up with a deal jud to get a PG to make things work out.
