(excerpt from a Bo Sanchez article)

Let me tell you how I wake up early…

Is Your Dream Big Enough To Wake You Up?

People ask me, “Bo, how can I wake up early?”

I can give you lots of advice, but let me start with the most important one: Have a BIG DREAM that’s so exciting, it’ll wake you up every morning.

Some people ask, “What dream? I don’t have a dream…”

    Perhaps that’s the problem.

(from smurky: im helping others, in my own humble way, to GET their dreams. for those who dont have a dream yet, i help them realize unsay angay nga dream. that's why i see to it i get the chance to meet these "coaching" students.)

Smurky is a LAZY GUY...... (SOMETIMES)....

there are times when i dont feel like doing those businesses im suppose to be doing...
yes. tawo lang gihapon ko..... i get lazy every now and then....

there's always the "kid" in me who likes to watch TV series like Heroes, Lost, PrisonBreak, Chuck and Naruto.... (surprise!)

I sit with my kids for hours while watching Barney (my 2-year son loves it) or Barbie movies (i think my 5-year daughter have seen the stories maybe 20 times now and counting. no kidding!). We play a lot.

I love to get LAZY once in awhile coz i deserved it. i always believe about "working smart and not working hard". i've been practicing this for 2 years now. just turned 30 years old last Dec'08 (oops... did i mention my age? now you know)

BUT one thing i make sure BEFORE my day ends.... and BEFORE i switch to my "couch potato" mode for a couple of hours - i SEE to it i've made my day PRODUCTIVE.... (not full of activities but PRODUCTIVE).

    my secret? ..... TIME MANAGEMENT....

dont retire each day without accomplishing at least 80% of your daily goals.... (i reserved 20% of my daily time to pamper myself, my family and GET Lazy)

Where to Get Business COntacts? (by: smurky)

some of the "coaching" students nga ni-apil ani expressed they mainly want to GET CONTACTS para sa ilang existing business.

    1. get out of your comfort zone - you expected me to tell you a straightforward answer but really GETTING OUT of your comfort zone is the first step.

    2. start talking... start communicating.... start reaching out to people.... (usa ka sekreto sa business is "not WHAT you know but WHO you know)

    3. visit any online business forums like www.istorya.net, Entrepreneur.com.ph | Home, www.pinoymoneytalk.com, etc.... (apil sa mga forums, observe and get recognize. if you have ideas, post it. when you have questions, dont hesitate to ask. and most importantly, DONT FORGET to communicate with these people online. Ask their names, contact numbers and what business they're into. pangutana lang. they wont bite you.)

    4. JOin any business conference or business trainings (FYI: para lang ni sa mga maka-afford coz it will cost you thousands to invest in those business events). Always RUB elbows.

    5. apply this magic word, "can i have your contact number?". that's it!
    - when you meet a real state agent, ask for his calling card.
    - when you meet a person nga hilig og baligya og RTW, ask her contact #.
    - kung maka-meet ka og "influential" person, get his email-add or cellphone number.
    - kung naa kay na-amigo nga lawyer, ask his phone number.
    - kung makasugat ka og accountant, tell her "how do i get in touch with you?"
    - kung maka-encounter ka og ANYBBODY sa tan-aw nimo his service will come handy in the future, ayaw kaulaw og pangayo sa iyang contact #....

sooner or later, you'll gonna need those persons in the future.... you'll never know makatabang diay sila nimo when you least expect... it's just a matter of habit....

this is my principle: "im gonna meet as many people as possible kay BASIN makatabang ko nila in the future or they can do THE SAME for me."

    6. from the numerous contacts i have, i generate MORE contacts!
    - you get referrals from the people you already know. all you have to do is ask
    like:
" doc, naay kay nahibal-an nga maayong accountant?"
"bro, naa kay kaila nga real state agent kay plano mopalit og yuta ang akong amigo?"

    7. Make a regular habit of attending EYEBIZ of istorya.net (the one ive spearheaded 9 months ago). this is a quartely event/every 3 months. usually falls every 2nd SUnday of the month. you get to meet "contacts" there. and as a BONUS for attending, we send thru your emails/ or i-PM namo ang participants names, usernames, contact#s and respective businesses nila so you can "do business" right away. i intend to make it a lifetime event kining EYEBIZ.... it's not a one-man effort. it's a team effort. thanks to the EYEBIZ organizers (volunteers) nga ni-support aning "vision".

did i say im an ATENEAN? "men and women for others"...and im very proud of it....

go out there and start establishing your contacts!!!!!
basta naay pangutana, just PM me....

    Wealth File #6

Rich people admire other rich and successful people.
Poor people resent rich and successful people.

Poor people often look at other people's success with resentment and envy. They snipe, "They're just lucky," or whisper under their breath, "Those rich jerks."

You have to realize that if you view rich people as bad in any way and you want to be a good person, then you can never be rich. It's impossible. How can you be something you despise?

The Huna people of Hawaii have a philosophy that says, "Bless that which you want."

If you resent what people have, you can never have it.

    Wealth File #7:

Rich people associate with positive, successful people.
Poor people associate with negative, unsuccessful people.

Successful people look at other successful people as a means to motivate themselves. They see other successful people as models to learn from. They say to themselves, "if they can do it, I can do it."

Rich people are grateful that others have succeeded before them; drawing up a blueprint to follow that will make it easier to attain their own success. Why reinvent the wheel? There are proven methods for success that work for virtually everyone who applies them!
