If your router is Linksys, click "Access Restrictions" tab and set the ip addreses there or the domain name of sites to block.Originally Posted by rosaroso
You could also set/schedule time when to block.

Some linksys routers has an issue in access restrictions. It doesn't work on WRT54GS.
For me, I'm using a proxy server. Squid and Danguardian (Linux).
if your company doesnt want to hire a system admin you can always unplug your DSL modem/router power cable during office hours
ok, thats just me trying to an @$$.
on your router (im assuming you have one thats capable of basic router feature nowadays such as SPI or port-forwarding) create a rule that will forward outbound requests for port 80 to the loopback address(127.0.0.1). assign a schedule for that rule ex. 8am-6pm.
doing this will block the http port 80 and will disable internet browsing during the set time.
