para nako parehas lang man kay mag base man sa sangkap sa medicine.Ang problema lang kay ang medicine sa Pinas gi hold ra man sa pipila ka pharmaceutical companies.Bag o moabot sa tiyan sa maysakit,moagi pa sa med rep--patong,doktor--patong plus pharmacy patong.Mao nga mahal na kaau.

The doctor and the patient should be given a choice kung unsa gusto nila, kung brand ba or generic. Anyways, if a doctor writes an Rx for a brand drug, unya wala'y kuarta ang pasyente, he can always tell the doctor to prescribe a similar drug nga naay generic equivalent (in cases where a drug only comes as a brand and has no generic equivalent as of yet, e.g. Levaquin or Avelox).

Dili man pud na mga bulok nang mga doktor ba nga pataka lang ug reseta ug brand drugs bisan kahibaw sila nga indigent ang pasyente. They would be more than happy to write an Rx for a generic kay ang main concern nila is patient compliance.

Whether the effectiveness of the branded or the generic has big diffrence,it must be passed and okayed by the legislators for the sake of the poor who cant afford to buy expensive medicines.

Dili gusto ang mga doktor aning nga balaud kay kuyawan mana sila nga maundang na ilang mga perks sa mga giant drug companies.

Kanang ilang mga sponsored vacations/seminars, overseas travel expenses and accommodations and other very expensive gifts - mao na ang tinuod reason ngano mahal ang mga branded medicines. Tens of Millions ang allocated budget para ani gikan sa mga pharmaceutical companies.
