i just find it ironic that most people on the list are chinese.

I'm not surprised that most on the list are Chinese. Chinese are usually ridiculed for being 'tihik'. Pero tanawa ra asa na-abot ilang pagkatihik. Most Chinese, negosyante man gyud and that's where the money is. Ang ilang mga anak pabantayon sa tindahan. You have to take risks if you want to earn a lot.

Pilipino man gud wants to play it safe, basta makasweldo ra, okay na. Maybe it's the Spanish influence that makes most Filipinos risk-averse. Also, Pilipinos are afraid of what others think. Maulaw mubaligya sa palengke, maulaw mupalit ug ukay-ukay, kinahanglan pirme branded, pirme bag-o.

Even US balikbayans my age in the 20's, when they come visit us are shocked by the attitudes of the young Filipinos. We have the latest phones, branded clothes, shoes, bags, etc. Pero, pangutana bahin sa stock market, makatubag? Naay cellphone, walay mutual fund... or even the basic 3 month emergency fund. Ug naay kwarta, ipalit ug cellphone, dili stocks.

Then, matingala mo ngano dili muasenso ang Pinoy? Mangutana mo ngano walay Pinoy on the top 40 list?

Sorry, Im not trying to hit anyone personally. Just ranting, coz it's a pet peeve. Mapungot man gud ko to see so many Pinoys na financially illiterate and enjoying their ignorance. And no plans to try and learn otherwise. Aaaaargh!
