@stellina, yes my PC is using SMART's GPRS thru my cellphone acting as the modem. complicated pa gani ni gamay ako setup kay ang infra red ako gi gamit kay wala koy USB cable sa ako phone to the PC.

@stellina, ok ra ang speed. once ma install na imo phone as a modem, adto sa start>control panel>phone and modem, then find ur modem there unya click ang properties. adto ma configure nimo ang speed sa imo modem which in this case is your cellphone. hope this help.
Possible bsta nay Signal Sa Service Provider Company..........SA Smart kay Smart Bro..sa Globe kay Glboe Visibility..WIFI PAckages
@malcolm thanks a lot for sharing some important info... i'm sure this is a great help :mrgreen:
@redman thank you sad nimo![]()
@stellina, way problema basta ikaw... hehe, nya ga gamit na ka ana karon?
GPRS is even slower than dialup (~48 kbps?). Don't jump ship just yet.
If 3G/HSDPA with Globe or Smart at an affordable rate comes into play however...
ڤيكتور البَرت جَبيلاغين
oh slower than dial up? however i'll take into considerations other possible alternatives, we'll see...i guess for the sake of chatting with friends (this is my daughter's happiness) in msn 48kbps would be enough...what do u experts think on this matter? here we are provided with 5.4mbps as what is in the contract with our local phone company....as what i've said i'm not expert on this but here surfing on internet is somehow similar to speedy gonzales... LOL
@malcolm ,we're not in cebu yet, i'll let u know if your idea works...Originally Posted by Viktor
