What does an A rating mean? Aside from 100% tax exemption...it means it's a really good movie....

er... ive seen mulawin... i dont know if they deserve the A... maybe they do, IF compared to other MMFF films installed


i got excited watching act I of mulawin, specially when darna... ehemm... Alwina stands on the garden and also the wind musical part that somehow convey a bit of emo... (it reminds me of the whistles in MAXIMO)

but

to my dismay and truth... ACT 2 to 3 were totally branded PISS...from the edit to the CGI stuff... (again, also reminds me of Enteng Kabisote and ISPIRITISTA ) you will really notice them when using the CGI, the following frames change into different HUE and SAT... all in all, i still like ALWINA

Ok siya, kind of enjoyable, pero di gyud siya LAUGH OUT LOUD na LAUGH TRIP (well, depende sad isa imo kuyog)

pero the film still has that filipino cliches in some parts, the aspirational looking casts, the side stories etc.

The ending however ruins the otherwise enjoyable film,it ends with a retarded SONG AND DANCE NUMBER!!! arrghhh
the producers sometimes get in the way...
