Bro, there are lots of ways to retrieve your files from a broken HDD
well, it also depends on what is the defective part of your HDD
Have you tried changing the IDE/SATA controller of your HDD
the small circuit board on your HDD. You can try using a working HDD board. Just make sure it has the same specs.
mostly if the HDD cannot be detected on the BIOS, it is the HDD board that has a problem.
but if the HDD can be detected by the BIOS, it is the misalignment of the pin or parts inside the HDD.
If you have the right tools, you can also transfer the cylinders by yourself. (This is if part of your life is on that HDD, jok3x)
HDD cylinders is sensitive to dust and transferring the cylinders is a little bit tricky so you have to be very careful.
But if you have the right skills, then I guess you can do it yourself.
There are lots of procedures on the net that you can refer to.
Sorry, I don't want to give you my way coz it may not work with your HDD but at least I give you a hint.
