i spent a really good time listening to these guys, and those were good times - but the band for me is just MEDIOCRE.

"ohio is for lovers", "pens and needles", "i am by your side" and "saying sorry" are quite good listens...but it's too derived to be remembered in 10years time. rudimentary playing and very very pathetic and uninspired vocals don't just cut it for me. "so cut my wrists and black my eyes" sound too whiny for me...can they think of better lines to say, i think ive heard it way before. and the black my eyes part.it simply sucks. i dunno y those kids even liked them in the first place. but i guess they're moving on to better things now.

my reason - simplicity is beauty.

i don't really mind you checking them out - if you're out for a good listen, then go. I just wouldn't recommend them to you.hehehe

even though i like this band, there are just sometimes na murag kapoyan ko maminaw ky most songs btaw nila mga puros mahay ug reklamo. hehe. so if broken hearted ka nya maminaw ka ani nila, basin ma depressed ka ug samot. i min, mao man ang nahitabo nako sad gud. hahaha.

its a good thing though that their putting their emotions into their songs, i know a lot of people have related to their songs. hawthorne heights is still a good band for me, i just wish that they come up with some thing more positive.

but anyway, this is just my personal review or opinion.. hehe.
