What makes me truly a human?

In understanding how can man be truly human, first is the reason for the human freedom and this freedom is the most important aspect of making human truly human. One of the most important problems with which we have to deal in our reflections on man, and one which constantly recurs, is the problem of man's freedom. The problem has aroused innumerable discussions, not only among philosophers but also among theologians, and the passion with which controversy was often carried on is an indication of the fact that in this problem we deal not with some unimportant aspect of man's nature, but rather with the whole man in his total life. Though this freedom usually was thought of in terms of characteristics that make up the advanced brain, including mind, will and physical attributes. Only birds and mammals exhibit these characteristics, which is why humans can form mutual relationships with birds and mammals.

In conclusion, the ability to make moral judgments - things that are not found in any animal species, even those to whom we are said to be closely related. Scientists recognize the uniqueness of human beings says humans represent a "totally unprecedented entity" on Earth.

I like randomness.
I am my own person..
I'm very blunt and honest.
I am down to earth.the kind of person that is very straight up and honest.
I'm open to new things that normal people don't agree with.
I dont put up with other peoples shizznit.
Well, I used to but I grew out of it..
I like to meet different races and faces..
I like mind games and witty people..
I don't like attention, theres always a critic amongst the crowd.
I don't like ignorant and shallow-minded people.
I don't deal with immature and fake people.. or any kind of drama!
I'm not here to impress you, so if you don't like me..dont pretend
some people misunderstood me and dont even bother to take a glimpse of my worth,but knowing me its your creativity to look deeper peel whatever
but deep within me is what makes me human not perfect but real.

Hi,

I've read Fr. Morgan's book as well. I'm curious though, if artificial intelligence technology would reach a point such that it becomes indistinguishable from humans (i.e., it will pass the Turing Test), can we say that the computer is human as well?

Of course, one could argue that AI would never reach a point as to become completely autonomous and sentient, but that is another story. If a machine would someday acquire the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, then what makes man or machine truly human? =)

i think what is lacking on our AI technology is the "creative" thoughts and "randomness" as machines Almost always thinks with an algorithm
