i don't know any of the labor laws but i think this is unjust. sa uban nilang branch, naay pila lang ka years nag work pero monthly na ang madawat...
now... ang population sa ilang branch alone mokabat roughly about 50 personnels. almost all of them worked for more than 5 years pero naa gihapon weekly based ang salary.

one time, naay nireklamo sa labor through letter. it took quite a while for tha labor/insperctor to investigate. igo ra niadto pero... wala lang.... walay resulta.

ang minimum wage is a daily basis ... Ang metro Cebu is alloted PHP 241.00 a day ... ang problema, walay umento gikan sa karaan. Dapat tun-an gyud nig maayo sa regional wage boards ...

Napa gyud laing naka-apan... only 80% complies with the minimum wage ... ang laing 20% ..ambot gi unsa na nila pag pa sweldo....

i can say this because here in cebu, daghan kaayu mga business establishments, then ang mga investors are safer to do the business here in cebu... take a look of other businessmen outside cebu, di ba dili kaayu sila mo violate its because ang mga businessmen mahadlok...

kami we are an SME but we pay our factory workers the current minimum wage and the mandated benefits.

bro please PM me the company(ies) u said that is/are violating the min wage. would be nice if u have some proof (confidentiality assured) so we can prosecute them and help rid this ugly practice here.

thats usually the case kasagaran sa mga chinese-owned establishments. not only in cebu but sa negros pud. luoy kaayo ang mga trabahante. sila naghago, tawn ang mga sweldo sa usa ka adlaw mura ug bawon nako sa highschool.

i've worked with a family up north sa cebu before. though naa ko relation gamay sa family, but i cant ignore what i see. grabe ang sweldo ug ang benepisyo maypag wala nalang. maluoy tawn ka sa mga taga bukid ug sa mga ubang trabahante. gobyerno sad cge lang ug report, wala ghpon nabuhat. saun nalang. utro taxes motikas pa.
