Performance-wise, ATI is now confirming that 3870 will be faster than 2900XT.

    Link: http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquir...ns-leak-hd3800

Pricing for 3850 is at 150usd with 3870 between 200-250usd... not too shabby for ATI....

    Hopefully this is true...

i agree. the inquirer has a bad reputation in reporting things. for all we know they might have forge the info themselves and no reliable source at all.

    well here's another "RUMOR"....

    New High-End NVidia Rumor

    " Hi

I cant give you a source to contrast this info, but in SIMO (one bigger informatic event), I hear to two workers of nvidia (high directives) talking about their new GTX that it will be launch on first half of January and.. It will be a 8800GX2, same G80, but with 2 processors on pcb like old 7950GX2.

Bad news for the people who was waiting the 9800.

Sorry because I cant give you any info, but is true. "

With the same G80 GPU x2 in a single card or die I wonder how much heat it produces.
I wonder whats the size of its heatsink. They must at least use a cooler GPU like the G92.
