diskless user ko boss pero balik naho traditional..walay hinungdan diskless for many reasons..
maglabad ra imo ulo..kung nakabantay kas extension sa oriental sa merkado wla nana makadiskless kay subok na nila
lahi jud ang performance if naa cyay kaugalingon os..trust me

sir grabi lagi kaau imo hugot sa diskless, 90% sa cafe ron diskless gamay nalay nag traditional kay dili kaau convenient nya mahal ang hardisk. if you know what you are doing mas ma appreciate nimo ang diskless.

salamat bro sa reply, ok na akong set up, diskless with a starting clients of six, planing to add more in the long run if ever....

for the hardware, if you are able to afford, buy Intel based LAN on the Motherboard, if realtek, then palit lang Intel LAN card.
better if all are ssd's imo gamiton sab. atleast 3 of them.
for the RAM, it will be MINIMUM 16Gb, if can afford more, the better.
for the processor, latest pentium will suffice. if can do i3 or better, then fine.
don't forget..., the gigabit switches!!!.
for ethernet cable, cat5e will suffice, kung kaya cat 6, a-ok, (if you buy cheap ethernet cables, you may have headaches later on, but this is subjective and your luck.)

also..., in diskless..., 10 maximum you said is too small for clients, the above specs can cater 20's + or even to 40's or 60's... just proper segregation, allotment, division of LAN cards.

kung ang diskless software imo pasabot, ma-o ni imo kapili-an:
- CCBoot (most common) [personally tried and used]
- OBM (parang2x rani sab sa CCBoot) [personally tried and used, pinakadugay hangtod ming quit ko ]
- CCU (Cloud Control Update) [linux based ni siya, wala pako nakasulay ani)
- NXD (linux based sab, try rako install kadiyot then wala na)
- others ^_^
