theres already a ready-made market like here in cebu...

to the thread starter: pero kung ganahan gyud ka (you really insist) to do business
in leyte... you really have to consult from people who are in leyte... and not from cebu... kay
sila ang naay direct experience sa business situation ngadto...

dapat businessmen sab dapat ang pangutan-on dili kanang ordinaryo lang nga citizen sa Leyte because
they have different perspective.

let me give you an example:

(i maybe right or wrong with this, its just a matter of opinion)

some istoryans said nga nindot ang "eggs" nga business buhaton sa leyte (basin tama pod sila).
you want to verify if it's TRUE?

- while naa pa ka sa Singapore, start your research bout the "egg" business sa leyte.
- ask a close friend or relative to do some survey for you like
* approach 10 stores who sells eggs (5 big stores selling eggs/ 5 small stores selling eggs)
* ask the pricing for those 10 stores
* ask them, kamusta ang ilang volume nga halin?
* ask them kinsa ilang supplier? (possible man pod naay local suppliers sa leyte)
* ask them pila ang kuha nila sa "eggs" from their cebu suppliers? (dapat kabalo ka pila
ang gasto sa shipping or are you willing to compete with these competitors sa price sa eggs nga
dili ka maginansya)

example lang na.... im just giving you an idea "whats inside" sa huna-huna sa usa ka businessman
who wants to venture in any business... mao na dili lalim.... it requires planning, study, execution
and DESIRE or PASSION for it (i think its the most important ingredient)

hehe btaw if opt ka farming, murag lisod kay ang location sa leyte, tapad raman ta, samar man mi,. ang panahon ba. farming ug fishing negosyo amu family ug gamay na lending. nindot man pud ug tutukan ang farming, basta kugihan ka mutanom.. ug mu-manage sa mga tawo. cge raka paabot mahinog, or harvest. rice amu ug kopras, mahal na gud kilo ron sa kopras, nya duol ra pud inyo sa tacloban or cebu ba ninyo emarket. kami, mahal au transpo, mao didto lang mi baligya sa buyer na local.. hapit jud tunga ang presyo.. karne pud ug kabaw, daku kaau ni na kwarta..
