Btw, YaW-YaN ArDIGMA is the latest evolution/progression of the Yawyan system which incorporates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, to be able to compete in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). So you will not only learn full contact stand-up fighting, but ground fighting as well.
Yes pwedi girls mo study og kickboxing, in fact Aileen Teng was a kickboxer before entering MMA. She's one of the pretty girls from yawyan who won via submission last November MMA tournament (Only the Strong Survive), held at Cebu Coliseum.
If your interested visit lng sa yawyan ardigma gym, look for Ate, or Sir Ekin.
By the way, here are some cool photos i found on the net, pics from URCC MMA events in Manila. Not related to the topic though

u know their landline number? and pla ilang rates? tnx... naa diay ni mu train?
unsa man purpose sa imo pag skwela?
pang tournament or pang self-defense? sa akoa, i prefer yaw-yan para self-defense and also tournament.. pero if you want tournament jud na aspect, muay thai is better kay recognized na sila sa SEA games.
not sure sa Ardigma gym, pero sa main gym sa colon wala may landline...adto-a lang personally para maka-appreciate ka sa lugar..Originally Posted by sheka

dai sheka, mo suggest ko ug aikido para nimo... it will teach you not just the art of self defence but also self discipline to become a better person... pero naa lang gihapon na sa tagsa2 kung gusto gyud nimo disiplinahon ang imong kaugalingon...Originally Posted by sheka

although all other martial arts are teaching self discipline, aikido is much more than that and it is also much more than simply a method of self-defence;Â* it is essentially a non-violent and non-competitive art...
but if you want to go for real fighting action and tournaments, aikido is not for you... as other suggests, you can go for karate or kickboxing ...
ikaw ang mag pili sa imong gusto ...
