As I experience yes it does. It’s one way of making the HR work easier for them. They sort what school, course, grades, etc….but if you have and given a chance then prove it to them….

If fresh grad ka with no experience then moapply kag big time jobs bro from big companies like lexmark, aws, then hatag ka dritso sa imo TOR, syempre mo matter siya. But just do the trick para dili nila mahibaw-an at first nga naa ka gi drop. Sa interview rana daugon ug sa imo kuha sa exam kay pwede mana nimo atikon ang employer na dili pa nimo makuha ang imo TOR but be sure na pasaron nimo ang ila exam ug interview. Don't tell me if qualified naka, then after ka na hire imo ihatag imo TOR, mo back out sila sa imo application tungod lang kay naa kay gi dropped. Stupid nana cgro nga mga manager na mo back out tungod lang ana nga rason...

this kind of case would really depend on what type of job and what company you're applying to. as for me, i got more than 2 years of dropped subjects luckily, i got a good paying job.

[color=navy]This is not necessarily so. A large number of companies would require submission a copy of one's TOR along with the application letter for evaluation before calling an applicant to schedule an interview and exam.

Of course one's collegiate peformance which is reflected in one's TOR is important for the screening process, but that is not the only factor that is considered by companies.

mo-matter ba jud sa employers if you dropped or failed a subject in college??
It matters and it won't matter. You didnt mention what course you are into and what school.

    1. It depends on the industry that you would like to apply. Say for example the banking industry who really calls for flying callers like BDO plus PLEASING PERSONALITY specially if that work calls for mall assignments.

    2. It depends on the kind of work and level of experience that work might be needing.

One sad thing, your TOR won't be able to speak when seen by HR who will screen them.

That is why, if you send an application which calls for a copy of the TOR, just send the certification (1st page), after all you are still graduating. Employeers will understand that it would take a long time to get the complete set.

The purpose of the TOR is for the employeers to merely know that you are a graduate of what you are claiming. That is why there are exams. For conservative industry, they would really pick into the grades.

One thing, you do your best during the interview. And a good excuse why you have failing marks, is for financial reason, you need to make extra work (which does not issue employment certificates) say baby sitting, wash clothes, construction worker, conductor of a jeepney... yes conductor of jeepney thats a very noble and believable lie. Believe me the employer would salute you for that.

This would mean you failed to find alternative hard work to finish your studies. Now that's determination and thats one aspect employeers are looking for.

I for one have been in USC for 10 years flanking grades to finish my degree due to activism and lazy study habits. But I am doing great for every interview and work I have applied.

Now I am into Sales/Marketing as Operations Manager - VisMin for two premium clothing brands.

One thing also, drink a few bottles of Light it would help you pop up some good ideas.

    Good Luck!

PS: By the way didnt know your a chick. Baby sitting and tutoring would do well. If you are from a well do to family. That would make it more better. Its hard for you to do these things it shows the more determined you are.

Still, you pop up some bottles of ice cold San Mig Light.
