Close-up magic is the kind of magic I perform, but yes usually it gets boring if they don't up the theatricality a notch by putting some stage magic and adding some contrivances such as dance, etc. .... anyway, Erik did a stage mirror thing in Episode 1.seen these kinda things (street magic) so many times already I found it boring yet manages to be entertaining if a little bit..

Not quite... he did perform on a studio setting although most or majority of it is on the streets....
Part 2 isn't very Blainy though... I found part 2 original with the Sadako and haunted house...
The theory was to be rather "loose" and establish rapport with some light typical close-up magic initially, and when he progressed to the 2nd episode it got darker and more metaphysical, the genre of his tricks...
I recommend people read Absolute Magic by Derren Brown, he even discusses Aristotle's theories and even Stanislavsky so it can be applied in the performing arts.

i missed this epi... my sister watches MTV most of the time and erik mana' has got a show there too. she says he is really good... is there a rerun on this episode?
